Before I post the outfit, I just want to say happy birthday to my husband. He never reads my blog (which is totally fine -- it's a bit outside his interests!) but he is a steadfast supporter. He constantly encourages my art and for that, I am forever grateful. So happy birthday, Mr Matthews. We're having a Super Mario party and ice cream cake, which you would know if you read this :)
Is it wrong that I want her bag?! It's great and I want one. This is one of my favorite sets. So far, I think it's the woodland set, the Renaissance set, and this as my top three. Though it's hard to pick favorites when they're all my "babies".
For Christmas Eve & Christmas day, I have more traditional Santa outfits, so check in tomorrow for that!
If you're looking for the dolls, you can grab them here.
Just want to tell you how much I'm loving this series! They've all been so beautiful. This one may be my favorite, though Fatherfrost might have the edge just a little. ;-) Thank you so much for all you do. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! That's really sweet :) I have two core goals with this blog: what I would have liked as a kid, and what I can share about my process. This December doll is something I would have loved as a kid! And I think this might be my overall favorite set, too, with the woodland, Renaissance, and Russian/frost set as runners-up.

This might be my overall favorite in the series. Working in Illustrator really helps me create these details. I created the flower once and then used it to make a brush & a pattern. Vectors are very handy :)
